Discussion Questions for Romans 12:1-2

1. How can you "offer your body as a living sacrifice to God" (v. 1)?
2. What do you need to give up to make the total dedication of yourself to God?
3. How are we being conformed to the pattern of the secular culture (v. 2)?
4. How can we renew our minds (v. 2)?
5. Is God's will really "good, pleasing, and perfect" to you (v. 2)? Do you really feel like it? If not, why not? How can we feel it?

(Romans 12:1-2) 1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship. 2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
