What We Believe..

The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original manuscripts and is eternal and unbroken. (Numbers 23:16-19, John 1:1-14, 2 Timothy 3:15-17)

The Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4-5, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 12:28-31, 1 John 5:7)

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He offered Himself up as the perfect sacrifice for fallen humanity, died on the cross, arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6-7, Matthew 1:18-23, John 1:1-14; 5:22-23; 8:54-58; 10:30, Romans 5:6-10, 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10)

Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the third Person in the Trinity. We believe in the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, for the edification of the body of believers, and enabling the believer to live a life glorifying to God. (Matthew 7:13-23, Acts 2:38-39, Romans 12:4-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1-12; 13:1-3, Galatians 5:22-26)

Fallen State of Humankind
We believe that all human beings are created in the image of God but fell short of the glory of God by sinning against Him and are, therefore, completely unable to save themselves with their own works or merits. (Genesis 3:6-19, Romans 3:9-31; 6:23)

Salvation by Grace
We believe in salvation by grace. This is a free gift from God, given to all who believe in Jesus Christ and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. (Matthew 16:21-26, John 3:16-19; 14:6, Acts 4;12, Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:4-9, 1 John 5:9-12)

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the church. Baptism is a demonstration of one’s faith and should be accompanied by a renewal and sanctification via the Holy Spirit. It is an outward symbol of spiritual identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is another sacrament commanded for believers to observe as to remember Christ’s death on the cross. The wine and the bread symbolize Christ’s blood and His body. (Matthew 26:26-29; 28:18-20, Mark 1:4-11; 14:22-25, Luke 22:19-20, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)

The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ of which He is the Head. It is a community where the believers share their love in Christ through worship and fellowship, encouraging one another to mature in faith and is established by Christ to fulfill God’s command to proclaim the Good News to everyone. (Acts 2:1-47; 4:32-37, Ephesians 2:11-22; 4:1-16, Colossians 3:1-17)

Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the believers to eternal life. (Isaiah 26:19, Daniel 12:1-3, Matthew 22:30-32, Mark 12:25-27, Luke 20:34-38, John 5:25-29, Romans 8:22-23, 1 Corinthians 15:20-55, Philippians 3:20-21, 1 John 3:1-3, Revelation 20:4-6)

Second Coming of Jesus Christ
We believe in the second coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (Matthew 24:1-44, John 14:1-3, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Corinthians 15:20-24, 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 5:1-3, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, Titus 2:11-13)
